Finally, he has participated in the design and implementation of epidemiological studies in collaboration with the medical school of the University of Crete.

In addition to that, she has extensive experience in supporting large hotels during their audits from tour operators and also in crisis management in cases such as Norovirus epidemics or Legionella outbreaks. She is also capable of developing and implementing private certification protocols such as Travelife.
Finally, she is very experienced in training hotel stuff and teaching in the engineering department of the technical institute (TEI) of Crete.
He has been head of the department of chemical analysis in an accredited laboratory, as well as responsible for the accreditation of the analytical methods applied in it.
Furthermore, he has experience as the quality control manager of a large multinational soft drink-bottling company.
His large educational experience includes a long collaboration with the department of chemistry of the University of Crete, as an instructor in the school’s laboratories.
Finally, he is experienced in developing and implementing quality management systems by the international standards ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HACCP/Codex Alimentarius & ISO 14001.
Extensive experience as manager of quality and food safety management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HACCP/Codex Alimentarius, IFS Food, BRC), as well as quality control manager in food producing and exporting companies / industries, but also in a company in the field of trading / distributing food raw materials.
In addition, he holds significant laboratory experience working in an accredited laboratory, carrying out sampling, chemical and microbiological analysis.
Finally, his experience as an auditor for the Cretan Diet certification has provided him with important knowledge of Cretan food and Cretan wine in particular, especially due to his involvement as a partner to a local family winery business.
